The UN unanimous vote on the Iraq resolution pushed the red alert button on Wall Street Friday. Investors fear a war and disappointing news from McDonalds earnings didn't front a winning battle.

In the Capital District, things are picking up speed, at least on the local tracks. A new turbotrain for the Empire Corridor meets DOT expectations.
Supersteel Schenectady Incorporated received close to $100 million from the state to refurbish seven 1970's trains. The locomotives will be used for high-speed service running from Niagara Falls to New York City.
The turbo travel is pending on Amtrak which still has to upgrade the rails and install another track from Schenectady to Albany.
The first train is ready to run. There is no word on when service will hit the tracks.
