GLENS FALLS, N.Y. -- The man accused of assaulting a police officer has been arraigned at Glens Falls city court.
Police said they arrested Scott Potter, 39, after he caused a scene at a local bar. When they put him in the back of a cruiser, they said he became violent, and kicked a door and window off their frames.
The man accused of assaulting a police officer has been arraigned at Glens Falls city court. Scott Potter is accused of damaging a patrol car, and then punching an officer in the head.
Officers were forced to subdue him with a taser and pepper spray. When they got him back to the station, police said Potter punched of one the officers in the side of the head.
He is facing several felony charges, including assault and criminal mischief.
